Nokia releases “Text Art” App for E71

In one of the weirdest app releases this year, Nokia released a free Text Art application for the Nokia E71. Since the app is in Java, it’ll probably work on the E63 and other devices too.

The Text Art App allows you to type in a bunch of alphabets through your E71′s QWERTY keypad, and then shows a “pretty” graphical version of that, with bright colors, in different shapes and other such things. Once you’ve done that, you can use it as a Wallpaper on your device (if you so wish to) or MMS/Email it to a friend straight from the app.

The application can be downloaded directly from the Nokia E71 UK website. The website also has a couple things to do, including the same functions as the application, allowing you to create a desktop wallpaper, etc.

Meh. Worth checking out, if you’re bored enough.
