The N-Gage Application Gets Version 1.40(1557) Update
The Official N-Gage Application has been updated to Version 1.40(1557). So far this seems to be only for S60 V3 FP1 & FP2 Non-Touch Devices (like the E75, N95, N96, N82, N85, N86, N79, etc).
(Note: This update is NOT for S60 V5 Touch devices like the N97)
To get the update, start up your current N-Gage application on your device and navigation to Options–>Check for update. It should automatically prompt you once you let your device connect to the Internet though.
This should bring up a web page with a link to the 11Mb Installable update. Remember to restart your device after the installation completes. The N-Gage application shortcut should be in your “Applications” Folder.
This update seems to bring a new “Intro Video” that plays every darn time you start up the N-Gage app. Also the bottom of the “My Games” section has a link to “Install Games from PC“.
No doubt there have also been a couple speed improvements and bug fixes under the hood.

Hey Cj… I pointed out the news at this morning but- I think it's not working for Nokia N82 its shows “NO Update Available”
Hey there Fakhre. Weird I just tried it on my N82 and got the same message. Earlier in the morning when I tried it, I got the “Update available” message but didnt update. Guess they're rolling out the update slowly for FP1 devices maybe ?
@CJ, I also had exactly similar experience like you with my N82 yesterday night.
May be they have pulled back update.
And I got it from n-gage website on laptop.

i’d format my n79 before. So i downloaded ngage it says version 1.40 1557. But every time i try to install an .n-gage file it says file corrupted..ne tip for dat?
