Nokia PC Suite updates to v7.1.40.1; Windows 7 Support & Stability Fixes
Nokia PC Suite has been updated to version 7.1.40.1 today. Its earlier version was v7.1.30.9.
The update weighs in at 35Mb, that goes up to 290Mb on installation. This update brings support for Windows 7, and Stability fixes.
If your current PC Suite installation doesnt prompt you for the update, you can download it over at the Nokia PC Suite website.
Edit: Apparently for some users the new version of PC Suite is not available at the PC Suite Website. This might be a regional thing, so it probably will take some time to roll out to all regions. Until then you can always update by opening up PC Suite–>”Web”–>”Check for Updates and Addons”

It all ways fails on downloading on my computer at 99% & pops up a box with the URL in it

it is NOT on the Nokia page. Maybe via Suite-Update, but what if I could never run Nokia PC Suite on win7 x64? -.-
Bonkers. Still no Device Stage support.
It's now available for download via Nokia site, things which I noticed
there is extra item in file -> download and install OVI suite
also when you now check for updates, OVI suite is shown as update, :-) so Nokia is really pushing OVI suite hard.
