Facebook comes to the Nokia E71 & Nokia E72
The Nokia E71 and Nokia E72 now has a Facebook application, available right at the Ovi Store.
The application is pretty nifty, and lets you use all the basic features of Facebook.
There are still a couple things missing like the Facebook “like” feature, etc but hey atleast there’s finally an official app now.
It’s basically a non-touch version of the S60v5 Touch app.
To download the app, go on over to the Nokia Ovi Store on your Nokia E71 or Nokia E72 and search for “Facebook” to find the application.
No doubt more S60v3 devices will get the application soon.

FINALLY! S60v3 has, for the most part, stopped getting any app love. This is a nice change.

1. Agree with what you said, it's a non-touch version of the touch Facebook Widget for S60 5th Edition.
2. Overall user experience is not bad. I kinda like it, it's fast and has most functions that I use Facebook for.

I hope they bring this out for the N95 soon. I could do with a proper Facebook app. Can anyone confirm if this has the feature to add events directly to your calendar like it does on the N97?
Finally…it's kinda late, eh? But, as the saying goes, better late than never.
The good thing is finally we have an easier way to upload photo.
But, the lack of notifications & the slow speed is very disturbing. This will make me only use this app when I want to upload photo.
Nevertheless, it's a nice start & hope Nokia quickly improves this.
is there facebook application for 6120c ?
yeah not bad but not good i managed to install it on my e63 and this can be used for most of the s60v3 devices! where is notifications and the like button i can only comment i cant like it?? will these be included in feature versions
i would like to know the answer to this too…. i am getting my e71 in a few days.
I've looked around the app multiple times, but not been able to find any way to add events directly to my calendar like in the S60v5 version. Guess its missing out on a couple features after all. All we can do at this point, is hope for an update !

how do you set the software to connect to the internet via the wifi and not through gprs? need help.

I can't log in to Facebook with this application. :( I have an E72, and an error always occurs: “User has opted out of Facebook Platform”.
