Nokia N96 gets a Firmware update to v30.101
Thanks to the guys over at NokiaLino, we’ve found out that the ol’ Nokia N96 has gotten a minor firmware update today, to version 30.101. Its previous firmware was v30.033.
The N96 does have UDP (User Data Preservation), so while its always a good idea to backup all your data before the firmware update, none of your programs or data should be affected with the update.
Remember you can update using the N96’s OTA (Over-The-Air) feature, or if you prefer you can download Nokia’s Software Updater application to update your N96 on your windows PC.
If there’s no new firmware detected for your device yet, it might be because it hasnt reached your region product code yet, or maybe your device is carrier branded. It should roll out to all product codes eventually though.
There’s no official changelog yet, but we’ll update this post as soon as we find one. I’d guess this update contains a couple bug fixes and speed improvements, as usual.

Would appreciate if you did some research before you posted these kind of misleading news articles Clinton. Because if you had checked, you would have seen that 30.101 is a regional version (for Turkey product codes) of the 30.033 firmware for N96 users, much like 30.014 was for Turkey codes for the N78 while the rest of the world received 30.011. Don't believe me, check Navifirm.

Omg! i love that theme…anyway, yea i've got the v30.10 from which i upgraded from v12.043.
I noticed a huge difference between performance but not stability….when playing movies, transferring big files through bluetooth and multitasking and also listening to music…..it crashes, and that doesn't sound good….
after updating my nokia n96 vodafone the mobile tv disappeard anyone with a solution plzzzz my email is stanilux@yahoo.com
