The Official N-Gage Application has been updated to Version 1.20(1459). About time it got some sort of update !

To get the update, start up your current N-Gage application on your device and navigation to Options–>Check for update.

It should bring up a web page with a link to the 10Mb Installable update. Remember to restart your device after the installation completes.

No doubt this new version brings along a couple bug fixes. I cant notice any “New” features as such but there is a new N-Gage Icon for the application now, and the predictive text bug has been fixed.

Isn't it available in the PC website? The file is too large to download via GPRS.
  • Yup, the PC website also has it now. Download it from http://www.n-gage.com/ngi/ngage/web/g0/en/get_n...

What about the point pickups info , where full description could not be read, is that readable now?
  • Unfortunately no. The full descriptions are still not readable.

This was the least we could have accepted in update, that point description bug is annoying..
  • Only new thing I noticed is that the exit of the application is instant now, instead of slow and having the loading thing in the top right corner of the icon happening. That little icon in the top no longer appears, and exiting the application is instantaneous
