Nokia N97 vs Nokia N82 : Size Comparison Pictures
The N97 is a pretty small device, even though it might look huge in images you see of it. The device is actually pretty close to the dimensions of my trusty ol’ Nokia N82.
With that in mind, here are a couple size comparison pictures of the Nokia N97 vs the Nokia N82.
Front View :
As you can see the N97 and N82 are almost the same size, with the N97 being a bit wider.
You can see how Nseries design has evolved over the last few years. The N97 only has its Slanted Menu button, and its Red and Green Calling keys on it front, under its massive touchscreen.
The N82 has a traditional phone layout to it, with its full alphanumeric keypad along with the menu button, delete “c” key, multimedia key, left and right selection keys, and green and red call keys.
Back View :
Here we see both devices with a sliding camera lens protector. The N97 has its dual LED flash and 5 Megapixel camera hidden behind its lens protector. The N82 has its 5 Megapixel camera, and its awesome Xenon Flash.
You’ll also notice that Nokia has decided to give the N97 a matt black finish to the back of the device, compared to the glossy surfaces it used to, previously. The microSD slot of the N97 is underneath the back cover.
Left view :
The N97 has its microUSB port (which is also used to charge the device) here on the left side. There’s also its sliding keypad lock switch, and both its stereo speakers at either end.
The N82 has its charging port and microUSB port here along with its microSD slot.
Top View :
Both the N97 and the N82 have their power buttons and their 3.5mm standard audio jack (with TV-Out) here.
Right View :
Both devices have their dedicated Camera Buttons here, along with a Zoom in/out (aka Volume Increase/Decrease) Key.
The N82 also has a Gallery button, which isnt present in the newer Nseries devices anymore.
Bottom View :
Both devices have a tiny slot for their mic here.
